STL Hotel Furnishing · Project Workflow

From Project Brief to
Site-Ready Delivery

A hotel project is not a retail order. It needs clear technical confirmation, controlled production, documented quality checks and reliable delivery coordination. STL Hotel Furnishing manages the process as a manufacturer-led project workflow.

A project workflow built around the decisions that affect quality, cost and delivery.

STL Hotel Furnishing works with hotel owners, contractors, designers and procurement teams on custom hotel furniture projects. Our role is not only to produce furniture, but to help turn approved drawings, materials and quantities into a controlled manufacturing plan.

Important: Production begins only after the relevant drawings, materials, finishes, quantities and commercial terms are confirmed. This avoids avoidable rework, wrong finishes and on-site installation issues later in the project.

Eight controlled stages from inquiry to delivery.

Every project may have different design complexity, quantities and supply scope. The workflow remains consistent, while the technical details are adjusted to the actual project.

01 Start Here

Project Brief & File Review

Send us your BOQ, furniture list, drawings, reference images, quantities, hotel location and target delivery date. We review the scope before discussing materials, structure or pricing.

Key output: Initial project understanding and quotation basis.
02 Commercial Stage

Scope Alignment & Quotation

We prepare a project quotation based on the confirmed supply scope. When specifications are not final, STL Hotel Furnishing can recommend practical alternatives based on hotel positioning, durability and budget.

Key output: Itemized quotation and scope confirmation.
03 Technical Stage

Shop Drawings & Finish Confirmation

Before production, we confirm dimensions, construction details, material boards, upholstery, metal finishes, hardware and product functions. This stage is especially important for customized guest room and fixed furniture.

Key output: Approved drawings, finish schedule and technical details.
04 Approval Stage

Sample or First-Piece Confirmation

For projects requiring samples, mock-ups or first-piece approval, we make the relevant product before full production. This helps confirm appearance, comfort, construction and finish consistency before the bulk order starts.

Key output: Approved sample or first-piece production reference.
05 Factory Planning

Order Confirmation & Production Plan

Once project details are confirmed, STL Hotel Furnishing arranges material preparation, production scheduling, item coding and internal coordination. Each product is linked to the approved project information before manufacturing begins.

Key output: Production schedule and controlled material preparation.
06 Manufacturing Stage

Mass Production & In-Process QC

We check material selection, dimensions, assembly, finish quality, upholstery, hardware functions and product appearance during production. For project orders, photos and videos can be provided for key production stages.

Key output: Factory production records and quality-control evidence.
07 Pre-Shipment Stage

Final Inspection, Packing & Loading

Before shipment, we check quantity, finish, dimensions, labels, packaging and packing marks. Export packing is prepared according to product type and transport requirements, followed by container loading coordination under the agreed shipping terms.

Key output: Packing list, packing photos and loading records.
08 Project Handover

Delivery & Installation Support

We provide product labels, packing lists, drawings, hardware information and installation guidance where needed. For selected larger projects, on-site technical guidance or coordination support can be discussed before shipment.

Key output: Clear installation reference and delivery coordination support.

What keeps a hotel furniture project under control.

Most hotel furniture problems do not start in the workshop. They start when drawings, finishes, quantities or site information are unclear. Our workflow is designed to reduce those risks before goods leave the factory.

01

Version Control

Confirmed drawings and finish information are used as the production reference.

02

Material Consistency

Board, fabric, metal, stone and hardware selections are checked against approval details.

03

Product Identification

Project labels and packing marks help the site team identify products after arrival.

04

Visible QC Records

Photos and videos can be used to review production, packaging and loading progress remotely.

More than furniture. Clear project information at every critical stage.

STL Hotel Furnishing manufactures core hotel furniture including beds, headboards, sofas, chairs, tables, cabinets and customized guest room furniture. Lighting, sanitary ware, tiles and other coordinated categories can be arranged through selected project partners when included in the supply scope.
Quotation & Scope Sheet Clear product scope, quantities and commercial reference.
Shop Drawings Approved dimensions, structures and installation-related details.
Finish Confirmation Material, color, upholstery, metal and surface finish reference.

Packing & Labeling Project-coded cartons, packing marks and item identification support.
Delivery Coordination Packing list, loading details and agreed logistics support.

Useful answers before your project starts.

A complete BOQ is helpful, but it is not the only way to begin. We can review a furniture list, reference images, drawings or room layouts and identify what information is still needed.

Can you quote based on a BOQ or furniture list?

Yes. A BOQ, furniture list or quantity schedule is usually the best starting point. We also need drawings, dimensions, reference images, material requirements and project location whenever available. If some specifications are not final, we can recommend suitable construction and materials according to the project budget and hotel positioning.

Can you work from drawings, mood boards or reference images?

Yes. STL Hotel Furnishing can develop custom hotel furniture from design drawings, room layouts, reference images, sketches or finish schedules. Final production will be based on confirmed shop drawings and material details.

Is a sample required before mass production?

Sampling is recommended for highly customized products, special finishes, new structures, upholstery-sensitive items or projects where the owner requires approval. For repeat products or straightforward designs, first-piece confirmation or detailed production photos may be sufficient.

How do you control quality before shipment?

Quality control includes material checking, size verification, assembly inspection, finish review, functional testing where applicable, packaging checks and final pre-shipment review. Project orders can also include product photos, packing photos and container loading records.

Can furniture, lighting and sanitary ware be supplied in one project?

Yes. STL Hotel Furnishing is fundamentally a hotel furniture manufacturer, while selected supporting categories such as lighting, sanitary ware, tiles, mirrors and decorative materials can be coordinated through established partner factories when required by the project.

Can you support installation for overseas hotel projects?

We can provide product labels, drawings, assembly information, hardware packs, photos and videos to support the local installation team. For selected larger projects, technical supervision or on-site coordination can be discussed based on the location, project schedule and service scope.

Send your BOQ, drawings or reference images. We will help organize the next step.

Whether your project is at early budgeting stage or ready for production confirmation, STL Hotel Furnishing can review the available information and identify the most practical next action.
